盐田区,位于深圳市东部,距市中心12千米,西接罗湖区,东连大鹏新区,北邻龙岗区与坪山区,南与香港新界山水相接,沙头角口岸与香港直接相通。辖区面积74.99平方千米。 盐田文化集生态文化、海洋文化、音乐文化、客家文化和历史文化于一体,沙头角鱼灯舞被列入国家级非物质文化遗产名录,沙头角街道被国家文化部授予“民间艺术之乡”
盐田区屏山傍海,盐田区海岸线长达19.5千米。大鹏湾海域面积达250平方千米,海岸线长19.5千米。盐田区域历史源远流长,大梅沙海湾沙丘遗址考古发掘表明,在新石器时代就有人类在这里繁衍生息。距今四五千年前,即中原地区夏、商时代,此地为百越部族聚居之处。截至2018年盐田区有沙头角、海山、盐田、梅沙4个街道办和中英街管理局,2017年常住人口23.72万。 2017年,盐田区实现地区生产总值585.49亿元。
交通配套
盐田区拥有便捷的交通运输网络。惠深沿海高速(S30)东西走向贯穿盐田区全境,连接罗湖区和大鹏区;盐排高速(S27)(是武深高速(G4E)的一部份)南北走向位于盐田区中部。普通公路方面主要以隧道形式与外界相连,其中罗沙路通过梧桐山隧道可到达罗湖区莲塘,北山道通过盐田坳隧道可快速到达龙岗区横岗,在建的马峦山隧道未来可快速到达坪山区。深圳地铁八号线:8号线一期工程由2号线三期工程莲塘站后接出,终点设于小梅沙站,线路长20.941公里,全地下敷设,设车站8座。8号线建成后与2号线一、二期及2号线三期贯通运营。一期建设期为2015-2019年,二期建设期为2017-2022年。

截至2017年末,盐田区各级各类学校(不含简易民办)46所,较上年增加3所。其中,普通中学4所,职业中学1所,小学11所,幼儿园30所。在校学生数总计28750人。其中,普通中学7149人,职业中学2114人,小学12498人,幼儿园6989人,教职工数总计2829人。学校专任教师人数2182人,其中,中学854人,小学777人,九年一贯制学校45人,幼儿园506人。学龄儿童入学率、小学毕业生升学率、初中毕业生升学率均为100%;高考升学率(大专及以上)为95.1%。该区著名学校有:深圳市盐田区外国语学校、深圳市盐田区梅沙小学、深圳外国语学校
著名景点
盐田区有东部华侨城、梧桐山国家森林公园和中英街等景点。其中东部华侨城占地9平方千米,于2004年底动工兴建,是集两大主题公园、三座旅游小镇、五家度假酒店、两座18洞山地球场、大华兴寺和天麓地产等于一体的世界级度假旅游目的地。而梧桐山历史悠久,早在明清时期,“梧岭天池”被誉为“新安八景”之一,如今“梧桐烟云”以其特有魅力荣膺“深圳八景”之列。梧桐山国家森林公园2009年被国务院列为国家级风景名胜区。此外,盐田区大梅沙海滨公园、中信明思克航母世界、深圳小梅沙海洋世界、小梅沙度假村、盐田港、海滨栈道、三洲田庚子首义革命旧址等一批知名景观景点,其中“一街两制”(中英街)、“梧桐烟云”(梧桐山)、“梅沙踏浪”(大小梅沙)被列为“深圳八景”。
Yantian District, located in the east of Shenzhen, is 12 km. away from the city center. It is connected to Luohu District in the west, Dapeng New District in the east, Longgang District and Pingshan District in the north, and the New Territories in Hong Kong in the south through the Sha Tau Kok Port. The area of the jurisdiction is 74.99 sq. km. Yantian integrates various cultures, including the ecological culture, marine culture, music culture, and Hakka culture. Shatoujiao fish lamp dance is listed in the national intangible cultural heritage list. Shatoujiao Street has been awarded the “Hometown of Folk Art” by the Ministry of Culture.
The coastline of Pingshan in Yantian is 19.5 km. long. The waterfront of Dapeng Bay covers an area of 250 sq. km. with a 19.5 km. long coastline. Yantian has a long history. The archaeological excavation of the sand dune site of Dameisha Bay shows that in the Neolithic Age, human beings thrived here. Four or five thousand years ago, in the Xia and Shang Dynasties of the Central Plains, the district was the place where the Baiyue tribe resided. As of 2018, there are four street offices in Shatoujiao, Haishan, Yantian and Mesha, and the Zhongying Street Administration in Yantian District. In 2017, the resident population was 237,200. In that year, Yantian District achieved a regional production value of 58.549 billion yuan.
Transportation Facilities
Yantian District has a convenient transportation network. Huishen Coastal Expressway (S30) runs in the east-west direction covering the whole district, connecting Luohu District and Dapeng District. Yanpai Expressway (S27) (part of Wushen Expressway (G4E)) is located in the middle of Yantian District. Ordinary highways are mainly connected to the outside world by tunnels. Luosha Road can reach Liantang in Luohu District through Wutong Mountain Tunnel. Beishan Road can quickly reach Henggang in Longgang District through Yantianyu Tunnel. The Majishan Tunnel which is under construction can quickly reach Pingshan District in the future. Shenzhen Metro Line 8: Phase 1 of Line 8 is connected with the Liantang Station of Phase 3 of Line 2. The terminal is located at Xiaomeisha Station. The line is 20.941 km. long and is laid underground with 8 stations. After the completion of Line 8, it will connect with Phase 1, 2 and 3 of Line 2. The construction period of Phase 1 is 2015-2019, and that of Phase 2 is 2017-2022.
Educational Resources
As of the end of 2017, there were 46 schools in Yantian District (excluding general private schools), an increase of 3 from the previous year. Among them, there were 4 general secondary schools, 1 vocational middle school, 11 primary schools and 30 kindergartens. The total number of students in school was 28,750, among them were 7,149 ordinary middle school students, 2,114 vocational middle school students, 12,498 primary school students, 6,989 kindergarten students, together with a total of 2,829 faculty staff members. The number of full-time teachers was 2,182, including 854 in middle schools, 777 in primary schools, 45 in nine-year system schools, and 506 in kindergartens. The enrollment rates of school-age children, primary school graduates, and junior high school graduates were all 100%, respectively. The entrance rate of college (post-secondary and above) was 95.1%. Famous schools in the district are Shenzhen Yantian District Foreign Language School, Shenzhen Yantian District Meisha Primary School, and Shenzhen Foreign Language School.
Tourist Attractions
Yantian District has a number or tourist attractions such as Overseas Chinese Town East, Wutong Mountain National Forest Park and Zhongying Street. The OCT East, a world-class holiday destination covering an area of 9 sq. km., was built at the end of 2004. It is a combination of two theme parks, three tourist towns, five resort hotels, two 18-hole mountain courses, Dahuaxing Temple and Tianzhu Real Estate. Wutong Mountain has a long history tracing back to the Ming and Qing Dynasties, known as “Qingling Tianchi” and praised as one of the “Xin’an Eight Scenes”. Today, “Wutong Yanyun” is ranked among the “Shenzhen Eight Views” with its unique charm. Wutong Mountain National Forest Park was listed as a national scenic spot by the State Council in 2009. In addition, there are Yantai District Dameisha Waterfront Park, CITIC Mingsike Aircraft Carrier World, Shenzhen Xiaomeisha Ocean World, Xiaomeisha Resort, Yantian Port, Haibin Plank Road, and Sanzhou Tian Gengzi Shouyi Revolution Site. Famous scenic spots, including “One Street Two System (Zhongying Street)”, "Wutong Yanyun" (Wutong Mountain), and "Mesha Treading" (Da and Xiao Meisha), are listed as "Shenzhen Eight Views".
