南山区,位于深圳市中西部。行政区域东起车公庙与福田区毗邻,西至南头安乐村、赤尾村与宝安区相连,北靠羊台山与宝安区、龙华区接壤,南临蛇口港、大铲岛和内伶仃岛,东南隔深圳湾与香港元朗比邻,西南隔珠江口与澳门、珠海相望,辖区土地面积187.47平方千米,海岸线长43.7千米。 南山区地处亚热带,滨临南海,属亚热带海洋性气候,四季温暖湿润,地势北高南低,主要山峰有羊台山、塘朗山、大南山等。截至2016年,南山区下辖8个街道。2015年,全区常住人口129.12万人。2015年,全区实现地区生产总值3714.57亿元,人均生产总值306091元。

 

南山区是深圳的科研、教育、体育中心,是深圳大学、深圳大学城、深圳市高新技术产业园、深圳湾体育中心所在地。南山区旅游资源丰富,有深圳华侨城、世界之窗、欢乐谷、锦绣中华,海上世界、新安古城、青青世界、深圳野生动物园、南头古城等主题公园和著名景点。2016年5月,深圳市南山区成为国务院首批双创区域示范基地。2018年9月,《2018年中国百强区发展白皮书》在京发布,白皮书以高质量发展为导向,综合评析了全国968个地级市市辖区发展情况,并以统计数据为依据,量化评选出2018年中国百强区,其中南山区位列第一名。


交通配套

南山区交通方便,公路干线有广深高速公路、广深沿江高速公路、深南大道、南海大道、南山大道、滨海大道、北环大道、沙河西路、月亮湾大道、南坪快速路等。深圳地铁1号线、2号线、5号线、7号线、9号线、11号线、平南铁路经过南山区。南山区空中运输方面有直升机场和距南山仅10公里的深圳国际机场。南山区海上每天有数十班次往返蛇口至香港的飞翔船和开往广州、珠海、中山等地的定期航班。深圳湾口岸位于南山区东角头,是连接香港特别行政区与深圳市的口岸,位于深圳市西部,是“一国两制”的交汇点,也是中国内地首次采用深港“一地两检”作业模式的口岸。


教育资源

南山区是深圳市教育科研基地。截至2015年,南山区有幼儿园192所,各级各类中小学校69所;其中,小学36所,普通中学32所,中等职业学校1所;毕业生25128人。2015年,南山区有公共图书馆84座,公共图书馆总藏量161.6万册(件)。全区拥有区级及以上博物馆、纪念馆9座;群众艺术、文化馆1座。全区拥有社区文体设施351处。

 

该区著名中学有:深圳前海学校、深圳蛇口学校、深圳南头中学及深圳育才中学等。

南山区是深圳市旅游基地,区内主要名胜古迹有南头古城、天后宫、信国公文天祥祠、育婴堂、宋少帝陵、解放内伶仃岛纪念碑、陈郁故居、赤湾左炮台、中山公园、赤湾烟墩、东莞会馆、汪刘二公祠等。主题公园有世界之窗、欢乐谷、海洋世界、锦绣中华等。


Nanshan


Located in the central and western part of Shenzhen, Nanshan District is an administrative area adjacent to Futian District in the east, Nantou Anle Village and Chiwei Village in the west, connected to Bao'an District in the west, bordering Baotai District and Longhua District in the north, and Shekou Port, Dachao Island and Neiyu Island in the south. It is adjacent to Shenzhen Bay and Hong Kong Yuen Long in the southeast, and situated across the Pearl River Estuary in the southwest, facing Macau and Zhuhai. The district is 187.47 sq. km. in area with a 43.7 km. long coastline. Nanshan is located in the subtropical zone with a maritime climate, and borders the South China Sea. Its four seasons are warm and humid, and the terrain is high in the north and low in the south. The main peaks include Yangtai Mountain, Tanglang Mountain and Danan Mountain. As of 2016, Nanshan District had 8 streets under its jurisdiction. In 2015, the resident population was 1,912,200. In that year, Nanshan achieved a regional GDP of 371.457 billion yuan and a per capita GDP of 306,091 yuan.


Nanshan is a research, education and sports centre of Shenzhen comprising Shenzhen University, Shenzhen University City, Shenzhen High-tech Industrial Park and Shenzhen Bay Sports Centre. It is rich in tourism resources which include Shenzhen Overseas Chinese Town, Window of the World, Happy Valley, Splendid China, Sea World, Xin'an Ancient City, Qingqing World, Shenzhen Wild Zoo, Nantou Ancient City and other theme parks and famous attractions. In May 2016, the district became the first batch of regional demonstration bases of the State Council. In September 2018, the "White Paper on the Development of China's Top 100 Districts in 2018" was released in Beijing. The white paper was guided by high-quality development and based on statistical data that comprehensively analyzed the development of 968 prefecture-level cities and municipalities across the country. China's top 100 districts were quantitatively selected, among which Nanshan District ranked first.


Transportation Facilities

Nanshan provides convenient transportation with highways including Guangzhou-Shenzhen Expressway, Guangzhou-Shenzhen River Expressway, Shennan Avenue, Nanhai Avenue, Nanshan Avenue, Binhai Avenue, Beihuan Avenue, Shahe West Road, Moon Bay Avenue and Nanping Expressway. Shenzhen Metro Line 1, Line 2, Line 5, Line 7, Line 9, Line 11, and Pingnan Railway pass through Nanshan. In air transportation, there are heliports and Shenzhen International Airport, which is only 10 km. away from Nanshan. Besides, there are dozens of daily flights to and from Shekou to Hong Kong and scheduled flights to Guangzhou, Zhuhai and Zhongshan. Shenzhen Bay Port is located at Dongjiaotou, a port connecting Hong Kong Special Administrative Region and Shenzhen. It is located at the junction of “One Country, Two Systems” in the west of Shenzhen. It is also where Mainland China has adopted the “one place and two inspections” operation mode for the first time.


Educational Resources

Nanshan is Shenzhen’s Education and Research Base. As of 2015, there were 192 kindergartens and 69 primary and secondary schools at all levels. Among them were 36 primary schools, 32 general secondary schools, 1 secondary vocational school, and 25,128 graduates. In 2015, there were 84 public libraries, and the total collection of public libraries was 1.616 million (pieces). The district had 9 museums and memorial halls at district level or above, and a mass art and cultural museum. There were also 351 community cultural and sports facilities in the district. The famous middle schools in the district are Shenzhen Qianhai School, Shenzhen Shekou School, Shenzhen Nantou Middle School and Shenzhen Yucai Middle School.


Tourist Attractions

In addition, Nanshan is Shenzhen’s tourist base. The main scenic spots include Nantou Ancient City, Tianhou Palace, Xinguo Gongwen Tianxiang Temple, Yuying Hall, Song Shaodi Mausoleum, Liberation Neiyu Island Monument, Chen Yu’s Former Residence, Chiwan Zuo Fort, Zhongshan Park, Chiwan Yandun, Dongguan Hall, and Wang Liu Er Gong. Theme parks include Window of the World, Happy Valley, Sea World, and Splendid China.
