罗湖区是深圳市的中心城区之一,位于深圳市东部 ,东起莲塘,与盐田区相邻;西至红岭路,与福田区相连;南临罗湖桥与香港毗邻;北到原特区管理线,与龙岗区横岗、南湾、布吉、坂田及龙华区民治等地交界,往香港的一条重要的铁路过境通道罗湖口岸、陆路过境通道文锦渡口岸及未来的东部莲塘/香园围口岸均位于本区。


罗湖区地势东北高、西南低,多为丘陵山地和冲积小平原,总面积78.75平方公里。深圳最高峰梧桐山即坐落在辖区东部,属亚热带海洋性气候,辖区年平均气温22℃。罗湖区是深圳经济特区最早开发的城区,是深圳中央商务区重要组成部分,先后获得全国和谐社区建设示范区、全国文化先进区等荣誉称号。截至2015年,罗湖区辖10个街道。2016年末,罗湖区常住人口100.40万人,2016年,本区生产总值(GDP)1974.07亿元,人均GDP为199442元。罗湖是深圳金融机构数量最多、分布最为密集的金融聚集区,是中国现代商贸业发展的重要起源地之一。 2018年12月,被评为第二批国家生态文明建设示范市县。

罗湖区主要干道有人民南路、沿河南路、深南东路、东门南路、文锦路、春风路、船步路、滨河大道、泥岗路、罗沙公路等。罗湖区有深圳地铁1号线、2号线、3号线、5号线、及9号线,辖区内有罗湖站(位于深圳火车站)、国贸站(位于人民南商圈)、老街站(位于东门)、大剧院站(位于地王商圈)、晒布站(位于东门)、湖贝站、黄贝岭站、新秀站、怡景站、布心站、翠竹站、田贝站、水贝站等地铁车站。罗湖辖区内有中国最大的内陆口岸,每年从罗湖口岸出入境的人数超过1亿人次。罗湖火车站每天都有超过100次列车进出。东门老街地铁站是中国国内客流量较大的地铁站之一。境内有横六纵11条主干道。深圳宝安国际机场离市区32公里。罗湖毗邻香港,辖区内有三个口岸,罗湖口岸是中国国内年均人流量最大的陆路口岸;文锦渡口岸是以供港鲜活产品过境为特点的客、货运综合性公路口岸;莲塘-香园围口岸正在建设,计划于2019年内开通。

 


教育资源

2016年,罗湖区共有各级各类学校(园)223所,比2015年增加2所。年末高等教育学校1所,中等职业教育学校1所,普通中学16所,小学58所,幼儿园147所。各级各类学校(园)毕业生4.22万人,招生5.16万人,在校生18.48万人。学龄儿童入学率和小学毕业生升学率均保持在100%。年末全区各级各类学校(园)有教职工1.31万人,其中专任教师0.96万人。高等教育学校、普通中学、小学和幼儿园的专任教师分别有0.02万人、0.29万人、0.34万人和0.29万人。

Luohu


Situated in the eastern part of Shenzhen, Luohu District is one of the central urban areas of the city. In the east of Luohu is Liantang, adjacent to Yantian District; in the west is Hongling Road, connected to Futian District; in the south is Luohu Bridge, adjacent to Hong Kong; in the north is the original SAR Line, at the junction of Henggang, Nanwan, Buji, Putian of Longgang District and Minzhi of Longhua District. Luohu Port connects to Hong Kong through an important railway transit passage. For land transport, it covers Mankamto Port and the future Eastern Liantang /Xiangyuanwai Port.


The terrain of Luohu is high in the northeast and low in the southwest. It is 78.75 sq. km. in area, mostly hilly with alluvial small plains. Wutong Mountain, the highest peak in Shenzhen, lies in the eastern part of the district, which has a subtropical maritime climate with an average annual temperature of 22°C. Luohu is the earliest developed urban area of Shenzhen Special Economic Zone. It is an important part of Shenzhen Central Business District. It has won the honorary title of National Harmonious Community Construction Demonstration Zone and National Cultural Advanced Zone. As of 2015, Luohu had over 10 streets. At the end of 2016, the resident population was 1,004,000. In that year, its GDP was 19,740 million yuan, and per capita GDP was 199,442 yuan. Luohu comprises the largest number and the most dense distribution of financial institutions in Shenzhen. It is one of the important origins of China's modern commerce and trade. In December 2018, it was awarded the second batch of national demonstration cities and towns for ecological civilization construction.


Transportation Facilities

The main roads in Luohu include Renmin South Road, Yanhe South Road, Shennan East Road, Dongmen South Road, Wenjin Road, Chunfeng Road, Shiping Road, Binhe Avenue, Nigang Road and Luosha Highway. The district has Shenzhen Metro Line 1, Line 2, Line 3, Line 5, and Line 9. There are Luohu Station (located in Shenzhen Railway Station), Guomao Station (located in People's South Business Circle) and Laojie Station (located in Dongmen), Grand Theatre Station (located in Diwang Business Circle), Sunbu Station (located in Dongmen), Hubei Station, Huangbeiling Station, Xinxiu Station, Yijing Station, Buxin Station, Cuizhu Station, Tianbei Station and Shuibei Station. Luohu has the largest inland port in China, with more than 100 million people entering and leaving the Luohu Port every year. Luohu Railway Station has more than 100 trains entering and leaving every day. Dongmen Old Street Subway Station is one of the largest subway stations in China. There are 11 main roads in the territory. Shenzhen Bao’an International Airport is 32 km. away from the city. Luohu is adjacent to Hong Kong and has three ports in its jurisdiction. The Luohu Port is the largest land port with the largest annual flow of people in China. The Wenjindu Port is a comprehensive road port for passengers and freight transportation characterized by the transit of fresh products for Hong Kong. Liantang-Xiangyuanwei Port is under construction, scheduled to open in 2019.


Educational Resources

In 2016, there were 223 schools of various types and levels in Luohu, two more than in 2015. At the end of 2016, there were 1 higher education school, 1 secondary vocational education school, 16 general secondary schools, 58 primary schools and 147 kindergartens. There were 4,200 graduates of various types of schools which have enrolled 51,600 students, with 184,800 students in school. The enrolment rate of school-age children and the rate of primary school graduates receiving further studies are both maintained at 100%. At the end of the year, all levels of schools in the district had 13,100 faculty members, including 96,600 full-time teachers. The number of full-time teachers in higher education schools, general secondary schools, primary schools and kindergartens was 200, 2,900, 3,400 and 2,900 respectively.The famous middle schools in the district are Shenzhen Middle School, Shenzhen Cuiyuan Middle School, Shenzhen Binhe Middle School and Shenzhen Buxin Middle School.


Tourist Attractions

There are many places of interest in Luohu, among which are Xianhu Botanical Garden, Diwang Building, Yuanxun Site, Siyue College, Dongjiang Anti-Japanese Guerrilla Command Site, and Dongmen Old Street. Other famous spots include Wutong Mountain Scenic Area and Celadon Museum, and Huaiyue Zhanggong Temple.
